Wylde Horses is a Valley Center facility offering therapeutic riding and equine-assisted learning for people of different abilities. Its programs also include work with horses on the ground, creating an option for participants who are not pursuing a riding lesson. Activities are arranged around the individual rather than offered as casual drop-in rides.

Volunteers help as side walkers, horse leaders, groomers and animal-care helpers. The team provides training and says prior horse experience is not required for every role. If you would like to take part, use the volunteer intake or arrange a program conversation. All tours and visits need advance scheduling; the property does not accommodate walk-in visits.
