Horses of Tir Na Nog provides a permanent home for horses with few other options, alongside other ranch residents. This is a non-riding sanctuary: the focus is the animals’ daily care and quality of life, and its residents are not available for adoption.

Sponsorship helps support feed and veterinary care, and the sanctuary also shares fundraising news and a supplies wish list. Its volunteer page describes horse care and feed-preparation roles, but new individual applications were closed when we checked in September 2026. If you have a company or community group interested in practical work, the page separately invites inquiries about arranged group workdays. Contact the sanctuary to discuss a suitable project.
